Jim’s second CD features eleven original songs. Jim wanted to approach this project a bit differently than the first, so he cut it with more of a raw, less sophisticated approach. Much of what you hear was recorded with a band playing more or less "live" in the studio. It's an admitted grab-bag of styles, representing various musical influences. Many of the songs are autobiographical in nature, and speak about the themes of addiction, loneliness, grace, and hope. "A superb collection of new songs. Imagine Billy Joel meets Steely Dan, all fueled by Jesus!"—Indie Heaven. This is an intimate portrait of a man who has come even further down a different road, and grown closer to his God.
